Deposits & Payments

 LYL is open by appointment only and does not double book. As such, we require credit cards be placed on file to reserve the appointment and new clients must pay deposit. Special Services may require a 50% non-refundable deposit. 
Deposits are non-refundable and are deducted from service total.

     Special Service deposits must be paid by specified cut-off time. If not, client must contact LYL to schedule.

     Deposits may be paid in person during Walk-In Hours or on the LYL website under the "Pay Deposit" link. Online deposits are paid via PayPal and no PayPal account is needed. 

    Do NOT pay with echeck or electronic bank transfer unless you make deposit 5 days before appointment in order for payment to process/clear. 

​      Do NOT pay deposit after cut-off time without first contacting LYL to see if appointment is still available. If deposit is paid after cut-off time and appointment is not available, deposit will be held as credit towards a future service scheduled in 1 week or deposit will be forfeited. Deposits paid by echeck or electronic bank transfers that have not cleared/processed by cut-off time will also be held as a credit towards a future service for 1 week and will be forfeited after that time.

Special Services Deposits & Payments are Non-Transferable

Deposits and payments made for Special Services (Loc Extensions , Add-On Loc Extensions , Loc Creation, Extensive Loc Repairs) are non-refundable and cannot be used for any other service. For example, if you paid a deposit for Loc Extensions it cannot be used for a Shampoo & Retwist.



​LYL does its best to offer the highest quality deadlock hair care services and customer service but no guarantees or refunds are offered on hair services.

If you have concerns, we welcome you to contact us and we will try to resolve the issue.

Clients that have remaining balances after services and those that reschedule/cancel with proper notice, 2 days, will have deposit balance held as a credit for 90 days
Meaning all credit balances must be used within 90 days of last scheduled appointment or date appointment was cancelled/rescheduled. If not, credit will be forfeited.

It is clients' responsibility to remember and use credit before end of 90 days.

  • By making deposit, you agree that it will NOT be refunded for any reason.


  • Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, deposit will be forfeited and will NOT be deducted from your service.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for a Special Service, $10 from the deposit will be forfeited every 10 minutes.
